Quick and Easy Strawberry Jam Recipe

Hi friends, I have been working on a recipe and excited to share it with you! Well, the wait is over! ;) Check out this super quick and easy strawberry jam recipe.

This is my variation of one I have seen floating around the internet. It is made with chia seeds which are an amazing super food. Chia seeds are rich in Omega-3s, high in fiber, and a great source of antioxidants. In this recipe I use strawberries which are packed with vitamin C and fiber. The raw honey used to sweeten the jam is great for boosting the immune system with its anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. The cinnamon and ginger are what set this recipe apart. Ginger and cinnamon are terrific anti-inflammatories and anti-bacterial spices and give the recipe just a hint of fall. With the health benefits aside, this jam tastes great. I couldn't keep my 3 year old out of it but luckily this recipes makes a lot of jam :)


Quick and Easy Strawberry Jam Recipe

1 3/4 cups strawberries (greens/stems removed)

2 Tablespoons raw honey (or agave to make it completely vegan)

2 Tablespoons chia seeds

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a food processor combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth making sure to scrape sides as needed. Pour the jam into a glass container (will seem liquidy at first). Refrigerate overnight or until the jam sets up and has the traditional jam consistency. 


Now you can enjoy a quick and easy to make jam that is free from any questionable additives to put on your favorite toast. Enjoy!
